People get disgusted when plot armor wins all the time. Come on, its unrealistic for them to go so frikkin far and make it in time lmao. I'll take this as a win cause its a positive indicator of plot armor not ruining the thrill of upcoming events.

I take it as an indicator that they didn't have budget for a great Boruto/Mitsuki fight, therefore they created this completely irrelevant Amado kidnapping as an excuse.

This has nothing to do with plot armor. This is just when your show is very poorly animated that can only offer good animations for last arc's final fights.

good to know, i still feel a bit at ease regardless of their reason that plot armor doesn't get to show its filthy face to me tho.

its honestly refreshing as fuck to see a lack of plot armor on a main character. Ive only been watching boruto sporadically but seeing him without plot armor increased my interest exponentially! still sad he didnt make it, but still love the 'realism' of consequences more.

There's a possibility that Boruto will stay as a genin, the strongest genin in the history

The writers don't want Boruto to surpass younger Naruto yet even though being Chuunin means absolutely nothing in this show. I don't see a third exam happening with half of them already passing.

I do agree. This is the 2nd time I encountered a lame thing in this anime.
Imagine waiting for weeks, to see Boruto & Mitsuki making a cool appearance by entering the arena through a portal just as their match is declared, then, blowing everyone's mind by displaying an epic match to the entire audience of konoha.
I wasn't this much dissatisfied even in the 1st chunin exams when I found Boruto cheating.

you wont find these garbage episodes in the manga actually among the 200+ episodes in boruto all are fillers i recommend skipping them .
The studio earning some bucks from narutos legacy .
They will never stop airiring and wait till the manga has some decent chapters

I think it's the other way around, they were on a mission from Gaara to check on Kawaki and used the chuunin exam as a legit excuse to observe. At least, that's how it sounded from the train convo.

Still wild exams tho. We got cat susano and sharingan visors. Tobirama be so happy rn as Uchihas become obsolete.

The whole rescue mission was lame af, barely anything happened.
Then they rush back to get disqualified... ffs...
Should've made the rescue mission more intense or at least make them get back to the exam in time and fight there.
I like this anime overall but this was the most boring episode so far.

for example: rinnegan used to be cool af because it can absorb chakra and jutsus, now all we need is just a tool.
It just doesn't feel special anymore.

I really thought that samurai girl would win but denki won for a reason, because the samurai girl was underestimating denki and she let her guard down thinking denki would only use the scientific ninja tool

Nah, soon as she said she was called back home, I knew she would lose and decide to stay, which meant Denki would probably be her opponent, since everyone else was strong enough for not to automatically assume she'd win.

Denki is very skilled, he's very smart and built all that tech by himself and he could match up to the others despite them still being prototypes,
That's way cooler then anything the female samurai has done.

People like to forget that being smart is a skill also...i would like to see her building an exo-skeleton suit if its so easy. Denki won fair and squre with his strenght which is his mind. And also she looked down on him from the start which was also a factor.
